We wanted people to deeply think about the unthinkable – death. While it’s inevitable, there’s a lot of heartache and pain that can be avoided for ourselves and loved ones when we take charge of it. Using stop-motion animation we took the daunting reality of death and created a new reality where the subject was more approachable and relatable. With about 5 seconds of footage per day, each piece from the stage lights to the tiny little hospital bin was meticulously crafted to create a world that worked seamlessly. The timing of each snare hit and guitar strum had to be performed perfectly to line up with the Pixies track. Have a look at what went into the setup below:
